Research & Development Manager

·      Develop and manage the R&D pipeline and portfolio, aligning new product development (NPD) projects with overall company growth objectives and market trends.
·        Lead, mentor, and manage a team of R&D specialists and scientists, ensuring high performance, technical expertise, and continuous professional development.
·        Oversee all NPD projects from concept ideation (Stage Gate) through formulation, pilot trials, scale-up, factory implementation, and final commercial launch.
·        Serve as the key technical leader, collaborating extensively with Marketing (for consumer insights), Sales (for launch readiness), Operations (for smooth scale-up), and Procurement (for strategic ingredient sourcing).
·        Ensure all new and existing products adhere to local and international food safety regulations, quality standards, and internal specifications (HACCP, ISO, GMP).
·        Drive cost savings initiatives on raw materials and processing through formula optimization and working with operations to improve manufacturing yields without compromising quality.
·        Work to protect new formulations, proprietary processes, and ingredients where applicable.
