Mechanical PMO Team Leader

Lead and manage the Mechanical PMO function, overseeing project planning, controls, performance monitoring, reporting, and coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and business objectives.

• Lead and manage the Mechanical PMO team and ensure effective project controls.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor project baselines, budgets, milestones, KPIs, and overall project performance.
• Identify risks, delays, and deviations and develop recovery and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Planning, Cost Control, Technical, Procurement, and Site teams.
• Prepare and review weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Lead project review meetings and follow up on key actions, decisions, and deliverables.
• Support change management, variations, claims, forecasting, and project controls activities.
• Standardize PMO processes, reporting systems, and performance-monitoring practices.
• Provide management with project forecasts, analysis, and recommendations.
• Mentor and develop PMO engineers and ensure effective team performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in PMO, Project Controls, Planning, or Project Management.
• Previous experience in team leadership and managing multiple projects.
• Strong experience in industrial, infrastructure, EPC, or contracting projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, cost monitoring, risk management, and reporting.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in mega projects is highly preferred.
