Mechanical Tender Team leader

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Tender Team Leader to lead tendering and estimation activities for mechanical works across industrial, infrastructure, and contracting projects. The role will focus on developing competitive technical and commercial bids, leading the tender team, and supporting successful project awards.

• Lead and supervise the Mechanical Tender/Estimation team, ensuring accurate and timely tender submissions.
• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
• Lead the preparation of cost estimates, material quantities, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to achieve competitive and optimized pricing.
• Coordinate with Technical, Procurement, Planning, and Project teams to develop comprehensive bids.
• Lead technical clarifications, value engineering, and post-tender negotiations.
• Identify tender risks, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial opportunities.
• Review awarded projects against estimated vs. actual costs and apply lessons learned.
• Monitor tender pipeline and team performance to meet business and submission targets.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Tender/Estimation Engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in mechanical tendering, estimation, or proposals.
• Previous team leadership/supervisory experience.
• Strong experience in industrial, infrastructure, EPC, or contracting projects.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, quantity take-offs, specifications, drawings, and cost estimation.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
