Planning Engineer - Site

The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely execution of MEP and infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating with project managers, technical teams, and procurement to track progress, analyze delays, and support management with accurate planning data for decision-making.

• Develop detailed project schedules, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare baseline programs and ensure alignment with contract requirements and project milestones.
• Monitor project progress, update schedules regularly, and report any delays or deviations.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and technical offices to collect progress data.
• Analyze the impact of design changes, scope variations, and unforeseen events on the project timeline.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, recovery plans, and delay analyses to management and clients.
• Work closely with procurement and cost control to align material delivery and financial progress with project plans.
• Support management in resource allocation and forecasting manpower and equipment needs.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations related to project planning.
• Use project control tools to generate S-curves, histograms, and performance indicators (KPIs).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer in MEP or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction sequencing.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office.
