Senior Procurement Mechanical Engineer - Site

The Procurement Mechanical Engineer is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing mechanical equipment, materials, and services required for projects or operations. This role ensures that all procured items meet technical specifications, quality standards, project timelines, and budget requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for mechanical equipment and components.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and datasheets to ensure purchased items comply with engineering and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs), commercial contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with Engineering Teams, Tender, Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain .

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6-9 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or mechanical engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, compressors, piping, HVAC, rotating/static equipment, etc.).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
