Senior Electrical Tender Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Tender Engineer to lead the preparation of technical and commercial tenders for electrical and infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for developing competitive bids, managing tender activities, and supporting successful project awards.

• Lead the review and analysis of tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for electrical works, including materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and ensure accurate, competitive, and commercially optimized pricing.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Planning, and Project teams to develop complete technical and commercial proposals.
• Lead technical clarifications, value engineering, and post-tender negotiations with clients and consultants.
• Identify tender risks, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial opportunities before submission.
• Prepare and finalize tender submissions in accordance with client requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain and update cost databases, market rates, and historical project data to improve estimation accuracy.
• Review awarded projects against estimated vs. actual costs and incorporate lessons learned into future tenders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Junior Tender/Estimation Engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in electrical tendering, estimation, or proposals.
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, EPC, or contracting projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, low-current systems, and electrical equipment.
• Excellent understanding of BOQs, quantity take-offs, specifications, drawings, and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; estimation/tendering software is an advantage.
