Refrigeration Section Head

• Team Supervision:
• Lead a team of Refrigeration Engineers, Supervisors, and Technicians.
• Plan and allocate work orders for refrigeration maintenance.
• System Integrity:
• Oversee maintenance of ammonia or Freon refrigeration systems, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and controls.
• Ensure all cold stores maintain required temperatures (-20°C to +4°C) consistently.
• Breakdown Response:
• Provide technical expertise for complex refrigeration failures.
• Lead root cause analysis for major breakdowns affecting export cold chain.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Enforce strict safety procedures for ammonia handling (if applicable) including gas detection systems and emergency protocols.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian regulations for pressure vessels and refrigerants.
• Energy Optimization:

Monitor refrigeration of energy consumption and implement efficiency measures.

• Academic and Professional Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering.

• Experience

·      5+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration.
·      2+ years in a supervisory role.

• Skills and Competencies

·      Deep knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, psychometrics, and controls.
·      Familiarity with refrigerant phase-down regulations
(Montreal Protocol/Kigali Amendment).
