Job Description
The Senior Auditor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with applicable laws and regulations within our manufacturing operations. This position involves conducting detailed audits, developing audit strategies, and collaborating with business units to improve processes, thereby safeguarding company assets and enhancing operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute financial and operational audits across various manufacturing sites.
- Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and internal controls for accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and refine audit strategies and procedures to optimize audit effectiveness.
- Identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions to management based on audit findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective processes and controls.
- Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations for management review.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a senior role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting findings to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in accounting software and audit management systems.
