
Quality Assurance Supervisor
Job Description
Responsibilities
1. Daily Quality & Food Safety Operations
• Leadfood food safety coaching, pest control activities and sanitation monitoring activities.
• Ensure all critical control points (CCPs) are monitored, records maintained accurately, and corrective actions taken promptly when limits are exceeded.
• Conduct supportive food safety , quality walk-throughs to verify compliance with hygiene, labelling, temperature, and product standards.
2. Team Leadership & Development
• Ensure that assigned tasks executed, set priorities, and review daily outputs.
• Conduct onboarding and on-the-job training for new operations members; deliver regular refresher sessions.
• Provide constructive feedback to the QA & FS Manager as needed.
3. Non-Conformance & CAPA Management including customer complaints
• Identify, document, and investigate non-conformances; coordinate root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the product hold and release process; ensure non-conforming products are clearly identified and appropriately dispositioned.
• Verify CAPA effectiveness and report status to the QA & FS Manager.
4. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain up-to-date food safety records,coaching visits logs, and audit trails in accordance with NFSA.
• Prepare and present weekly food safety performance reports highlighting key trends, incidents, and improvement actions.
• Ensure all SOPs and work instructions are followed; flag outdated documents for review.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with operations team to resolve food safety and quality issues impacting service or product consistency.
• Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders on food safety ,quality issues and rejection/replacement procedures.
• Support the QA & FS Manager in preparing for and hosting third-party audits and regulatory inspections.
