Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architect Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading firm in the construction industry. The Architect Engineer will play a critical role in designing innovative and sustainable building solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with project management to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design architectural plans and specifications for construction projects.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
- Evaluate building systems and materials, ensuring they meet safety and sustainability standards.
- Conduct site evaluations and assessments to inform design decisions.
- Prepare and present design proposals and technical documents to stakeholders and clients.
- Review and approve construction drawings and technical submissions for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and resolve design-related issues during the construction phase.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in architecture and construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional licensure as an Architect or Engineer is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and construction oversight.
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Experience with sustainable design practices and building codes compliance.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
