Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team at a leading construction company. This role is essential for transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency within our projects and processes.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to support project management and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide insights that help guide business objectives.
- Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
- Assist in the development of data models and predictive analytics to forecast project outcomes and resource allocation.
- Ensure data integrity by implementing data governance practices and conducting regular data quality assessments.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Provide training and support to team members on data tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis methods and tools.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
