Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage project teams, stakeholders, and various external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from planning through execution and closeout phases.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget by effectively scheduling and allocating resources.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct regular project meetings to assess status and adjust plans as needed, fostering clear communication among stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout all phases of construction projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Demonstrable experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably with a team of 10 or more.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to manage diverse teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently under pressure.
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing project requirements.
