We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This role will involve leading the design and implementation of mechanical systems in large-scale construction projects, ensuring that all mechanical aspects meet industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering innovative engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems in construction projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and structural engineers, to ensure cohesive project development.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed engineering specifications for mechanical systems.
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and trouble-shooting to resolve mechanical system issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to mechanical engineering.
Requirements
- His experience related to the work of the infrastructure department.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems design, HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
- Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ANSYS.
- Strong project management skills with experience in leading teams and managing resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
