Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Specialist to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The Technical Specialist will play a key role in supporting project teams with technical knowledge, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing operational efficiencies across various construction projects. This position is essential for maintaining high-quality standards and optimizing technical performance within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams throughout the construction process.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Conduct thorough reviews of project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the selection and evaluation of materials, tools, and equipment required for construction projects.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and project teams on technical processes and standards.
- Participate in site visits and inspections, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical or operational role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
