Job Description
- Lead yield forecasting and disease risk prediction.
- Forecast requirements for inputs (seeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals) based on production needs and market trends
- Develop mitigation plans for weather, disease, and supply risks.
- Implement crop protection and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
- Utilize forecasting systems (e.g., DACOM) to prevent disease outbreaks.
- Ensure farm practices meet FMCG food safety and quality standards.
- Ensure continuous raw material availability to factories.
- Manage harvesting schedules and logistics coordination.
- Minimize rejection, losses, and waste.
- Monitor cost per hectare / per ton.
- Support contract farming and supplier negotiations.
- Protect margins through efficient agricultural practices.
- Develop and implement annual and long-term agriculture plans in collaboration with supply, production, and procurement teams.
