Job Description
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to align forecasts with business objectives
- Serve as the primary liaison between Production, Sales, and Logistics functions to ensure seamless alignment between supply capabilities and market demand requirements
- Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to minimize forecast bias and errors
- Ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand
- Balance stock availability across regional warehouses and distribution centers
- Oversee the movement products from production
- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings
- Manage replenishment cycles based on consumption patterns and shelf life
- Track key KPIs such as service level, forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, case fill rate, and logistics cost per case
- Generate regular reports for leadership on demand planning and distribution performance
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions
- Utilize ERP and demand planning tools (like SAP, Oracle, or O9) for efficient operations
- Continuously improve forecasting and distribution models using analytics
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, consolidation, and communication of statistical and judgmental demand forecasts for all SKUs and product categories.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on forecast performance, identifying root causes of variances and implementing corrective actions to improve accuracy and reduce bias.
- Delivering the most accurate and unbiased sales forecasts possible across all product categories, SKUs
- Leading or participating in the monthly S&OP cycle to align demand forecasts with sales, marketing, finance, and supply (production, procurement, log
