Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing HR functions across recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and training, ensuring that our workforce remains engaged and compliant with all regulations. Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring effective communication and support to employees regarding their options.
- Assist in the performance management process, including development and monitoring of performance evaluations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related policies and procedures, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct training sessions related to employee development and compliance topics.
- Coordinate company events and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and culture.
- Support payroll administration and ensure accurate processing in collaboration with the finance team.
- Stay informed of labor laws and industry regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
