Mechanical Technical Office BIM Engineer

Responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing mechanical BIM models, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting the technical office throughout all project phases. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, clash-free, and coordinated designs.

• Develop and maintain Mechanical BIM models (HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems) in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.
• Prepare and update shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings using BIM software.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement agreed design changes.
• Review mechanical designs and drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements.
• Generate quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models.
• Support the planning and site teams by providing technical solutions and responding to RFIs.
• Assist in preparing technical submittals, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure all BIM deliverables meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation and comply with company BIM execution plans (BEP) and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office or BIM Engineering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Experience with BIM 360, ACC, or similar Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
• Familiarity with international and local mechanical codes and standards.
