Civil Tender Engineer - Construction

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Tender Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial tenders, reviewing project documents, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring accurate cost estimation and timely submission of proposals for construction projects.

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for construction projects.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements.
• Analyze project scope, quantities, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and project teams during tender preparation.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare cost estimations, pricing sheets, and bid comparisons.
• Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings when required.
• Ensure all tender submissions are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines.
• Identify project risks, challenges, and value engineering opportunities.
• Clarify technical queries with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Maintain tender records and update estimation databases.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in tendering and estimation within the construction field.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Experience in EPC or large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of local and international construction standards.
• Strong negotiation and coordination skills.
