Civil Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a Civil Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for civil works, ensuring the timely availability of materials and services while achieving competitive pricing, quality, and project requirements.

• Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify procurement needs.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for civil materials and services.
• Prepare RFQs, obtain quotations, and conduct technical and commercial comparisons.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value.
• Coordinate with Technical, Commercial, Planning, and Project teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.
• Manage the procurement cycle from RFQ and quotation evaluation to purchase order and delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, material availability, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors and develop new sources when required.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining required quality and specifications.
• Resolve procurement and supply issues and ensure compliance with company procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement within civil, infrastructure, industrial, or contracting projects.
• Good knowledge of civil construction materials and subcontracting.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with BOQs, RFQs, quotation comparisons, and cost analysis.
• Experience with mega projects is preferred.
