Commercial QS Engineer (Site Based)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial QS Engineer (Site Based) to join our dynamic team at Hassan Allam Construction. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring effective cost control and financial management. This position is critical for maintaining the quality and profitability of our operations in the construction industry.

Location: Ras EL-Hekma.

• Prepare, analyze, and manage the project's bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates.
• Monitor site progress, and evaluate the work completed against budget and timeline expectations.
• Assist in preparing and negotiating contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage and review all cost-related documentation and reports throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide accurate cost forecasting and financial reporting to ensure profitability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and risk assessments.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and compliance with project specifications.
• Evaluate and validate contractor claims and variations in collaboration with the project management team.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably on-site.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and contract law.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in reports and estimates.
