Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team within the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance, tracking deliverables, and mitigating risk. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with project teams and legal advisors, transforming contract management into a streamlined process that supports our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policy.
- Prepare, negotiate, and finalize contracts with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain organized records of all contracts, amendments, and communications related to contracts.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring all parties meet their obligations in a timely manner.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and legal departments to resolve disputes or clarify contract terms.
- Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of active contracts to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Provide training and support to staff regarding contract management processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and relevant legal regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.
