Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of construction projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for construction projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to address quality issues proactively and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve materials, construction methods, and quality control plans.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality control activities and present findings to stakeholders.
- Train and mentor junior quality control staff and subcontractors on quality assurance practices.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to risk management strategies to enhance overall project quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality control experience in the construction industry.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Quality Assurance certification is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Proficient in quality management software and tools.
