Job Description

Responsible for managing and coordinating architectural technical office activities, ensuring that drawings, technical documents, shop drawings, and material submittals are prepared accurately and in compliance with project specifications, approved designs, and applicable standards.

Responsibilities

* Review and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

* Prepare and review shop drawings, working drawings, and detailed architectural drawings.

* Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.

* Review and respond to RFIs, technical queries, and design clarifications.

* Prepare and review material submittals, samples, and technical documents.

* Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant codes.

* Identify design conflicts and coordinate with consultants and project teams to resolve technical issues.

* Support the preparation and review of as-built drawings.

* Review subcontractors’ technical submissions and provide necessary comments.

* Coordinate with site engineers to ensure proper implementation of approved drawings.

* Assist in quantity take-offs and support the preparation of BOQs when required.

* Follow up on technical approvals and ensure timely closure of comments.

* Maintain proper documentation and records of drawings, approvals, and technical correspondence.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.

* 5–8 years of relevant experience in architectural technical office works, preferably within construction or contracting companies.

* Strong experience in shop drawings, working drawings, technical coordination, and material submittals.

* Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is a must.

* Good understanding of architectural construction details and finishing works.

* Good knowledge of construction standards, codes, and project specifications.

* Strong coordination and communication skills.

* Ability to review technical documents and identify discrepancies or design conflicts.

* Good command of English.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

* Experience working with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams is highly preferred.
