Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Office Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading construction company. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical engineering aspects of our projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to deliver innovative solutions that drive project success.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contractual documents to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project documentation including reports, schedules, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate with design teams to facilitate the seamless integration of technical solutions into project plans.
- Support site engineers with technical guidance and troubleshooting during project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify compliance, and ensure work is completed as per project specifications.
- Prepare and present technical information, proposals, and reports to stakeholders as needed.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors and suppliers based on technical capability, quality, and performance.
- Lead the resolution of technical issues that arise during the construction phase to minimize delays and costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical office engineering role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, standards, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
