QC Specialist - Sampling

We are looking for a QC Specialist to perform sampling activities for packaging materials, raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with EU-GMP, GMP, GLP, GDocP, QHSE, and applicable ISO standards.
The role is responsible for maintaining proper sampling laboratory standards and supporting QC testing activities through accurate sample collection and documentation.

• Perform sampling of packaging materials, raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products according to approved procedures.
• Ensure proper gowning, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained in the sampling laboratory.
• Complete and maintain all required sampling laboratory documentation.
• Prepare and maintain documentation supporting QC testing activities, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, and inventory records.
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of samples to maintain traceability and data integrity.
• Coordinate and support laboratory and facility accreditation activities related to GMP and applicable ISO standards.
• Ensure all activities within the scope of the role are performed in compliance with EU-GMP requirements.
• Follow MEVAC QHSE policies and procedures and applicable safety requirements.
• Follow assigned responsibilities under the site's emergency response plan.
• Support continuous compliance and readiness for relevant quality and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Science.

Experience

• Previous experience in Quality Control, preferably in sampling activities.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or vaccine industry is required.
• Experience with sampling of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediate products, or finished products is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• QC principles and laboratory practices.
• Sampling procedures and techniques.
• Basic knowledge of analytical methods and method validation.
• GMP, GLP, and GDocP.
• Basic knowledge of vaccine manufacturing and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable quality and accreditation standards, including:
• ISO 9001:2015
• ISO 45001:2018
• ISO 17025:2017
• EU-GMP
