Job Purpose:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and services. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of applications while leading technical initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs using Python.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of backend solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure data protection in line with industry standards.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while supporting production systems.
• Contribute to system improvements, CI/CD processes, and technical documentation.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement across backend engineering.

What We're Looking For: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using Django.
• Hands-on experience with WebSockets and real-time communication.
• Strong experience with Celery, Django Celery, and background task processing.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Django applications in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Basic knowledge of React and Vite for frontend integration.
• Proven experience designing and building reliable, scalable, and high-performance backend services.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.
