We are seeking a talented Java Software Engineer to join our team in the Hospitality, Travel and Tourism industry. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that enhance the customer experience and optimize our internal processes. As a Java Software Engineer, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions that drive business growth and satisfy our users' needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications for web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to define application requirements and user stories.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards to ensure high quality and clean code.
- Participate in agile development practices including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Integrate applications with third-party services and APIs to enhance functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical issues clearly.
