Project Overview
The intern will develop a machine learning solution that supports smarter inventory decisions by forecasting next week's sales demand across branches. The project aims to reduce waste, improve product availability, and enable data-driven ordering decisions.

المسؤوليات

· Prepare and analyze historical sales and operational datasets. · Build feature pipelines using variables such as sales history, seasonality, promotions, and waste data. · Develop and evaluate forecasting models using machine learning techniques. · Incorporate waste feedback mechanisms to continuously improve model performance. · Generate ordering recommendations for branches and supply chain teams. · Design dashboards to monitor forecast accuracy and business outcomes.

المتطلبات

· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
· Open to:

Sophomore students (2nd year)
Junior students (3rd year)
Senior students (4th year / graduating class)

· Knowledge of Python and basic machine learning concepts.
· Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or BigQuery is preferred.
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
· Interest in predictive analytics and solving business problems using data.
· Ability to interpret findings and communicate recommendations clearly.
· Exposure to forecasting projects, hackathons, or data competitions is a plus.
