Project Manager

To manage HV/EHV substation EPC projects from initiation through handover, ensuring delivery of scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and contractual commitments while maintaining effective coordination with clients, consultants, internal departments, and project execution teams

• Lead the full lifecycle management of assigned HV/EHV substation projects, covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, detailed schedules, milestones, resource plans, and tracking mechanisms to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
• Monitor project progress against approved scope, budget, and schedule, and take corrective action to address delays, risks, and performance gaps.
• Coordinate with Technical Office, Procurement, Commercial, Execution, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment across all phases.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to maintain effective communication and prompt resolution of technical and commercial issues.
• Review project contractual requirements and ensure execution activities are aligned with project obligations, specifications, approved drawings, and client expectations.
• Lead regular progress review meetings and prepare project reports covering status, risks, key actions, claims exposure, and overall performance.
• Oversee procurement follow-up for major equipment and materials to ensure timely delivery in line with construction and commissioning priorities.
• Ensure site activities are executed in compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements, in coordination with relevant functions.
• Identify project risks, constraints, and change requirements early and coordinate mitigation plans to minimize impact on project outcomes.
• Support review and settlement of technical, contractual, and commercial matters including variations, claims, and project correspondences.
• Ensure proper project handover, final documentation, lessons learned capture, and closure of outstanding technical and contractual items.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 12+ years of relevant experience in EPC execution of HV/EHV substation projects, preferably 220kV and above .
• Full-cycle experience covering Tender, Procurement, Execution, Testing, and Commissioning phases.
• Strong track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants, and EPC contractors.
• Experience in managing budgets, schedules, change orders, and contractual claims in EPC projects.
• Working knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and/or relevant national standards for HV/EHV substation projects.
• English Language: Very Good
