Agro Operations Sectionhead

Key Responsibilities

1.   Field Operations Planning & Execution

• Plan and supervise daily agro-operations across contracted farms.
• Ensure timely execution of planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvest activities.
• Translate technical programs into operational actions.

 
2.   Team Supervision & Labor Compliance

• Supervise engineers and field staff.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law (2025) and H&S rules.
• Manage seasonal labor deployment and discipline.

 
3.   Operational Quality & Efficiency

• Ensure field operations meet technical and quality standards.
• Minimize delays, rework, and operational losses.
• Support reduction of factory rejection due to operational issues.

4.   Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Technical Agro, Seeds, QA, and Supply Chain teams.
• Prepare operational performance reports.
• Escalate risks and deviations proactively.

Education and Experience
·      Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or Crop Production.
·      10–12 years of experience in agro-operations or field management.
·      Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
·      Strong experience in potato operations for industrial processing.
·      Experience coordinating large field teams and seasonal labor.
 
Skills and Competencies
·      Strong understanding of Egyptian Labor Law (2025) related to:

• Seasonal labor
• Working hours, safety, and supervision

·      Excellent operational planning and execution skills.
·      Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
·      Knowledge of GlobalG.A.P. operational compliance.
·      Good reporting and coordination skills.
·      Arabic fluent; working English preferred.
