MHE Technician

Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts (engine/electrical systems, hydraulics, mast, tires).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on all MHE.

Breakdown Response:

• Respond urgently to MHE breakdowns to minimize warehouse disruption.
• Perform on-site repairs or arrange for major overhauls.

Battery Charging:

• Maintain electric forklift batteries, including watering and charging schedules.
• Ensure safe handling of batteries and acid per Egyptian Labor Law 2025.

Documentation:

• Maintain maintenance logs for each piece of equipment.
• Track spare parts usage. 

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Technical Institute Diploma, or Industrial Technical School certificate in Automotive or Heavy Equipment Mechanics.

Experience

• 2+ years as a forklift/heavy equipment mechanic.

Skills and Competencies

• Deep knowledge of diesel and electric forklift systems.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
• Willing to learn.
• Ability to work in shifts.
