The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) - MEP serves as a critical strategic leader within our construction firm, tasked with the comprehensive oversight of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering operations. This position is essential for the successful execution of technically intricate projects, while simultaneously promoting innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance across all engineering initiatives. The CTO will work in close collaboration with project management teams, senior leadership, and clients to ensure the alignment of engineering strategies with the overarching business objectives.

- Lead the MEP engineering department, managing a team of engineers and technicians.
- Develop and implement technical strategies that enhance the performance of MEP systems in construction projects.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of MEP systems in various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to define MEP project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Evaluate and select tools, technologies, and materials for MEP applications in construction.
- Conduct reviews of engineering designs and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Provide technical expertise and support during project execution, including conflict resolution and troubleshooting.
- Foster innovation by promoting the adoption of new technologies and practices within the engineering team.
- Manage budgets related to MEP engineering operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes that affect MEP engineering.
المتطلبات
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP design and management, specifically within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to MEP systems.
- Proven leadership and team management experience in a substantial architectural or engineering firm.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control processes within engineering projects.
- Proficient in using relevant engineering software and tools for MEP systems design, including CAD and BIM.
