Site Section head - Civil

Responsible for leading and supervising all civil finishing activities on-site, managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards, and monitoring progress to achieve timely project completion and handover in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.

Job Description

Lead and supervise all civil finishing and fit-out activities on-site to ensure project completion according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor finishing works, including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceilings, doors, and other architectural finishing activities.

Manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and manpower to ensure efficient execution and timely completion of works.

Coordinate with technical office, MEP, QA/QC, and other project teams to resolve site issues and avoid clashes or delays.

Monitor daily progress against the project schedule and take corrective actions to meet project deadlines.

Ensure compliance with approved method statements, inspection requests, safety procedures, and quality requirements.

Review drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues in coordination with the relevant departments.

Track material requirements, site resources, and subcontractor performance to maintain workflow and productivity.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure finishing works meet the required standards before handover.

Prepare progress reports and escalate critical issues affecting project completion to project management.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil construction, with strong expertise in finishing and architectural works.

Proven experience in leading and supervising finishing activities on large-scale construction projects.

Strong knowledge of finishing materials, construction methods, specifications, and quality standards.

Demonstrated ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and manpower effectively.

Experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring, and meeting tight completion deadlines.

Strong coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve site execution challenges.

Good knowledge of construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.

Ability to work under pressure and ensure timely project completion.
