Job purpose:
Will be responsible for managing day-to-day liquidity, cash forecasting, bank relations, and settlement operations across Paymob’s markets. This role ensures optimal working capital management, seamless payment gateway/acquirer fund settlements, foreign exchange execution, and robust financial risk controls to support Paymob’s rapid expansion across the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash & Liquidity Management: Assist with daily cash positioning, monitoring bank balances across multiple entities, and compiling daily cash reports.

• Bank Reconciliation & Settlement: Support the team in reconciling bank accounts against internal ledgers, identifying variances, and tracking automated payment settlements (including merchant accounts and gateway distributions).

• Banking Operations: Assist in preparing documentation for bank account openings, updates to corporate signing authorities, and managing user access matrices within banking portals.

• Standard Operating Procedures: Review, document, and update treasury workflows, including cash desk procedures, custody account limits, and compliance controls.

• Reporting & Analysis: Help compile monthly or weekly treasury metrics, interest income/expense reports, and foreign exchange (FX) exposure data.

• Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and internal audit teams to resolve transaction discrepancies and ensure strict adherence to internal financial limits.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or a related finance function, including previous supervisory experience.

• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, liquidity planning, and cash forecasting.

• Experience managing banking relationships, bank accounts, and payment transactions.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and daily cash position monitoring.

• Experience managing corporate banking platforms and online banking transactions.

• Good understanding of financial controls, banking regulations, and treasury policies.

• Experience in fintech, banking, or a high-volume transaction environment is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely execution of treasury operations.
