Job Description
The CMMS Specialist plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and performance of maintenance operations within our construction projects. You will be responsible for managing our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate tracking of maintenance activities, and supporting the overall maintenance strategy of the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic environment and contribute to optimizing maintenance workflows and asset management.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the CMMS software, ensuring data integrity and system updates.
- Train and support staff in the effective use of the CMMS and maintenance practices.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with maintenance and construction teams to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams regarding system usage and maintenance operations.
- Assist in the development and execution of strategies for predictive maintenance and asset reliability programs.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into maintenance activities and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a CMMS administration role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical skills and experience with CMMS software (e.g., Maximo, SAP, or similar systems).
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools; Excel skills required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
