Planning Team Leader - Construction

The Planning Team Leader will oversee the planning function for construction projects, ensuring proper scheduling, monitoring, and control of project timelines. This role involves leading the planning team, developing detailed project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

• Lead, mentor, and manage the planning team to ensure high performance.
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules (baseline and revised) using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor and track project progress, highlighting risks and delays to management.
• Prepare regular progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure proper integration of engineering, procurement, and construction schedules.
• Review subcontractors’ and vendors’ schedules to ensure alignment with overall project plans.
• Conduct delay analysis and support claims preparation when required.
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to align schedules and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with company planning procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Provide management with forecasts, performance indicators, and project status updates.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in construction project planning, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Strong knowledge of planning tools (Primavera P6 is a must; MEP Projects is a plus).
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and resource planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects preferred.
