Job Description
To operate and monitor utility systems (boilers, compressors, chillers, water treatment) and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure reliable supply to production.
Responsibilities
- Operate boilers, compressors, chillers, and water treatment plants.
- Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels, recording readings.\
- Perform routine checks (e.g., lubricating pumps, cleaning strainers).
- Assist maintenance technicians during repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures for high-pressure and chemical handling.
- Maintain cleanliness in utility areas (5S).
- Report any abnormalities or alarms to the shift supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, Technical Institute Diploma, or Industrial Technical School certificate
- 2+ years as a utility operator in industry
- Basic understanding of steam systems and water chemistry.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Safety awareness
- Reporting accuracy
- Teamwork capability
