Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Doctor to join our thriving construction company, committed to safeguarding the health and well-being of our workforce. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting workplace health and managing employee medical needs, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards in alignment with our operational objectives. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular health assessments and medical evaluations for employees.
- Provide medical support and guidance on health-related issues pertaining to construction work environments.
- Manage and respond to workplace injuries and illnesses; establish treatment plans and follow-up care as necessary.
- Collaborate with safety officers to ensure compliance with industry health regulations and standards.
- Educate employees on health promotion and disease prevention related to construction activities.
- Implement workplace wellness programs focusing on physical health and mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Advise on risk assessment and reduce workplace hazards that may affect employee health. Current company policies and safety protocols must be considered throughout the process.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- State medical license to practice medicine.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational or general medicine, preferably in a construction or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of occupational health standards and regulations pertaining to the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in occupational health or related fields is advantageous.
