Senior Design Engineer - Mechanical

Job Description

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Mechanical Engineer with not less than 10 years of experience in complex infrastructure and process-driven projects. This role is ideal for engineers currently working within leading EPC organizations who are ready to take ownership of critical process and mechanical design scopes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Leading process-driven mechanical design for infrastructure projects.
Performing equipment sizing and selection (pumps, blowers, compressors, screens, valves, heat exchangers, etc.).
Developing and reviewing P&IDs, hydraulic profiles, and system calculations.
Conducting detailed hydraulic and process calculations.
Reviewing vendor offers and technical submittals.
Supporting value engineering and optimization studies.
Coordinating closely with Civil, Electrical, and I&C teams to ensure integrated system performance.
Technical Expertise Required:

Strong background in Water & Wastewater treatment plants, RO systems, pumping stations, or industrial utility systems.
Proven experience in:

Hydraulic calculations and system headloss analysis
Pump sizing & selection
Equipment performance evaluation
Mechanical room layout coordination
Strong command of: Revit MEP (BIM environment required), AutoCAD, Hydraulic modeling tools (WaterGEMS / HAMMER is a strong advantage), Design calculation software, Deep understanding of relevant codes and standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, AWWA, etc.).

Requirements

7:10 years of experience
Strong technical authority — not dependent on vendors for core design decisions.
Able to manage critical engineering packages independently.
Commercially aware and capable of supporting tender strategy.
Comfortable working in fast-track, high-value infrastructure projects.
