Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain project technical documentation including specifications, drawings, and reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to ensure technical compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and proposals, including bill of quantities and contract reviews.
  • Manage submittals and requests for information (RFIs) in a timely manner to support project progression.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, suppliers, and subcontractors, to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Conduct field inspections and support site teams with technical guidance as needed.
  • Track project progress and assist in reporting metrics related to technical performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical office role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction processes, and project execution.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering software tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
