Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Technical Office Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading construction firm. In this role, you will oversee the technical office operations and ensure that engineering documentation and processes align with the project's strategic goals. You will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency of technical workflows and fostering communication between project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical office operations, ensuring coordination and communication between engineering, design, and project management teams.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement technical office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Review and approve engineering submittals and shop drawings for consistency and quality.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, budgets, and project schedules, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Provide training and support to technical staff on software systems and project processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate technical risks during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Architecture Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical office management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and design standards.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite) and project management tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
